Nutrient declaration
Total nitrogen and sulphur with the declaration basis clearly stated; never compare elemental S directly with an SO₃ figure.
Chemical limits
Moisture, free acidity and insolubles, plus contaminants or heavy metals where required by the destination or end use.
Production route
Record the process origin when it matters to buyer approval, appearance, impurities or destination restrictions.
Physical criteria
Crystal or granule size distribution, fines, color range, caking and—for granules—strength or abrasion behavior.
